Janice “Jan” Lipscomb is a lifelong resident of Okaloosa County and is the fifth generation in her family to live in Okaloosa County. Jan grew up in Destin. Three years ago, Jan and her husband William moved to the City of Mary Esther.
Jan spent the first 30 years of her career in the Human Resource field. From 2012 to 2018, Jan served on the Board of Adjustments for the City of Destin. After retiring from her career in HR, Jan and her son opened a small business located within the City of Mary Esther.
Jan has been married to William for 32 years. They have four children and seven grandchildren.
Jan was appointed by the City Council March of 2023. She is completing the term of Aaron Bacchi.
