Just a friendly reminder that we do have wild raccoons, possums and other animals within city limits that may pose a danger to your family pet. All dogs and cats over three (3) months of age are required to receive the rabies vaccination administered by a licensed veterinarian. If your pet has encountered a wild animal with rabies and has not had the vaccination, the pet owner may have to deal with the costly quarantine of the pet for up to six months.
PAWS offers vaccinations services. The cost of the rabies vaccination is $7.00. For more information please contact PAWS at 850-243-1525. Their link is:www. paws-shelter.com.

"Report an Outage" - STREETLIGHT REPAIRS AND REPORTING
Streetlights within the City are provided and maintained by Gulf Power and the City. When a streetlight is malfunctioning or broken you can report it directly to Gulf Power.
PHONE: 800 GU POWER (800 487-6937) WEBSITE: www.gulfpower.com E-MAIL: Lightout@gulfpower.com
You should be ready to provide your name, contact information, the specific problem with the light and address of the light (as well as the P-Tag number if possible). Each pole has a “P-Tag” number which is the best identifier. It is a round silver metal tag with a six digit number following the P. In addition, Gulf Power suggests using a bright color ribbon or tape to mark the power pole so their crews can easily indentify the reported light during the day. Here is a link to the Gulf Power web site, click here.
